Weinacker's at Hillcrest

Meet the Head of School | Ms. Keisha

Hi, my name is Ms. Keisha and I was born in Tucson, Arizona and raised in Mobile. I am the proud mom of three beautiful children and the oldest of five siblings. Being the oldest of five, I found my joy of teaching and taking care of small kids at a young age. At sixteen, I started volunteering at a local daycare center and after graduating from high school I began working at the center on a full-time basis. I worked in a few different centers before coming to Weinacker’s in November of 2021. I love working with children and have about twenty years of experience in child-care. I have tons of training and am currently enrolled in school to get my bachelor’s in early childhood education. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, shopping, and spending quality time with family.

Meet the Teachers

Preschool Teacher

Preschool Teacher

Ms. Jessica

My name is Jessica, a Montessori Guide at Weinacker’s Montessori School. Since I can remember I have been deeply curious about the world around me. Growing up in a home grounded in values, honesty, and faith; I learned the importance of hard work, respect, and following my dreams. From childhood I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Becoming a certified Montessori Guide transformed my teaching approach, allowing me to create learning environments where children explore, build independence and grow at their own pace. Today, I love what I do and every day I strive to inspire, guide, and support my students. Learning has no limits – neither for children nor for me – and my goal is to continue transforming lives, fostering curiosity and leaving a positive impact in every classroom I enter.

Toddler Teacher

Ms. Kayla

My name is Kayla and I have been with Weinacker’s Montessori School for two years. I recently was given the opportunity to take the Lead Toddler Teacher position and I love it! I really enjoy teaching the toddlers new things and seeing the sparkle in their eyes as they explore and learn! I love creating art and crafts each month with my students. I look forward to helping them grow on their journey. In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, playing video games, listening to music, shopping, and being outdoors.

Infant Teacher

Ms. MaKenzie

My name is MaKenzie, and I am the Lead Infant Teacher with four years of childcare experience and a passion for Montessori education. I enjoy creating a calm, nurturing environment where infants feel safe to explore, grow, and develop independence at their own pace. Building strong relationships with children and families is very important to me, and I love celebrating each child’s milestones as they learn and grow.
