Amanda Powell
Hey guys I’m Miss Mandi. I have been with LPG for going on 3 years and have worked in many roles from Cook to Assistant Director. I am now the new Director. It feels like I’ve worked with children for most of my adult life after graduating from Baker High located here in Mobile. Childcare is truly my passion. I am a boy mom of 3 and we enjoy seeking out new and fun things to do in our community. We spend most of our sunny days in the water or enjoying nature. In my free time I use my Cricut to make decals, shirts and odds and ends for friends family members and my kids.

Tammah Ferster
Hello parents! My name is Tammah Ferster. I am the lead teacher for Pre-school. I absolutely love teaching your precious children!!! I have 2 kids of my own. My son is 18 and my daughter is 12. I have a bachelor's degree in communications from USA. I enjoy art and music and I enjoy sharing that with your children! Your sweet babies give me purpose. I look forward to an awesome year!
Karley Dear - Toddler Lead
My name is Karley Dear I am the lead toddler teacher. I’ve worked in daycares since I was 16 years old. I love working with children it brings out my inner child. I am the kind of person that goes home and watches Disney movies I am seriously a child at heart. I love helping and preparing these babies to become preschoolers!
Ashley Pettway
My name is Ashley Pettway-Ruffin and I am currently the Lead Infants Teacher here at Learn Play Grow. I have been in the childcare profession for 9 years. I am happily married and also a mother of 4 beautiful children 3 boys and 1 girl, whom I love dearly. I began working at Learn Play Grow in 2022 where I was an infant's assistant teacher, and then promoted to Lead Infants Teacher. I've always had a passion to work with children (especially babies) as I started going to school to be a Pediatric Nurse. I have an Associate’s Degree in Medical Office and also a degree Radiology.
I have the privilege of being a part of Learn Play Grow working with a nurturing and creative team of individuals who only strive to give your children the best care possible. We strive to create and maintain a safe and loving environment for your child to learn and grow while thriving and exploring the world around all them. Hi, my name is Rose Richardson I love my Jesus, my husband, my job & chocolate.
I have been a cook in daycare for a little over a year. It's the BEST JOB EVER. I love to be in the kitchen & I love it when our little ones are full, fat & happy.
